missingrightsocks-deactivated20 asked: What was your first car?
The very first car that I owned (and didn’t actually belong to my parents) was a brand new 1982 Subaru DL hatchback…the color was called “torreador red” so it was pretty much fire engine red with a hint of orange. The interior was gray vinyl and there was NO AIR CONDITIONING and at first I only had an FM radio (I replaced that with an AM/FM cassette deck shortly thereafter.) I actually drove that thing across country over 3 weeks in 1985. To this day it’s the only car I ever owned that saw the Pacific ocean. I owned that car for 11 years until my daughter was 3 years old, when I traded it in for a Chevy Cavalier station wagon.
